Welcome to Leeds Teachers' Association, the Leeds branch of the National Union of Teachers

The NUT is the single biggest teachers' union in Leeds LEA, representing teachers in primary, secondary and special schools across the city.

This website provides important information for NUT members. It also contains vital information for School Representatives and Health and Safety Representatives.

We encourage you to make use of the information on these pages to support you in the valuable work you do in schools.

You can also contact Association Officers about anything on this site, if you need information or have an issue you need to discuss. The Local Office at West Park is staffed Monday to Friday during term time. Advice and support are only a visit or local phone call away. Our local Officers have a sharp understanding of the range of issues facing teachers today. They have successfully negotiated with local schools and workplaces to gain benefits for NUT members, both individually and collectively.
